Music at MERA is excited to present Martyn Joseph in concert at the MERA Schoolhouse in McDonald’s Corners on Friday, May 13 at 7:30 pm.

The opportunity to bring Martyn Joseph to the MERA Schoolhouse was something Music at MERA could not pass on. A native of Wales, Martyn has an international musical career spanning 4 decades, 32 albums, over a half a million record sales, thousands of live performances. He has previously toured with the likes of Art Garfunkel, Jools Holland, Ani DiFranco, Suzanne Vega, Mike and The Mechanics, Joan Armatrading, Celine Dion and Shirley Bassey.

Sometimes compared to Bruce Springsteen and Bruce Cockburn as a tireless socially conscious live performer, Martyn has created his own style and reputation which has been recognized with numerous music and humanitarian awards. Martyn brings to the table powerful compelling performances energized by his concern for social justice and his faith in the human spirit. His writing is deeply conceived and played from the heart.
